Simplicity Racing Review

Welcome to our Simplicity Racing review, where you will see us put this horse racing tipster service from Proofed Tipsters under the microscope for 90 days.  The service is run by a tipster who runs two large companies and a racehorse owner, and says he treats this service just as he would with one of his two businesses, professionally.  The Simplicity Racing review will see results recorded at advised stakes and also at £10 level stakes.

Quick Summary

We are commencing a three month trial of the Simplicity Racing service which is a service that comes under the umbrella of Proofed Tipsters.

The introduction to the service tells us that the person behind it runs two large companies and is also a longstanding racehorse owner. Apparently, using two systems devised by himself, he will select a mixture of horses.

The starting bank is advised at 100 points and bets are to one point wins on Betfair unless indicated otherwise. His final statement is very bold – “Good luck punters but you won’t need luck with me!” Well, we shall see.

There is no free trial offered but there is a 60 day money back guarantee and you can cancel at anytime. I will report back on the results from this service in one month’s time.

Month 1 Summary

We are now at the end of our first month of the trial of Simplicity Racing and it has not gone that well. The vendor boasts in his sales pitch “Good luck punters but you won’t need luck with me.” I will do no more than let the first month’s figures speak for themselves.

I have been accessing the recommended bets for this service direct from the site and they are generally posted in sufficient time to enable the bets to be placed at Betfair Starting Prices. Personally, I would much prefer a daily email for subscribers setting out the days bets as it is a pain having to get them for myself.

Not a very auspicious start to the service and it can only be hoped that there will be marked turnarounds in months two and three.

Profit/Loss to £10 Level Stakes -£113.50
Number of bets 111
Number of wins 19
Strike Rate 17.2%
Return On Investment -10.23%

Month 2 Summary

We are now at the end of the second month of our Simplicity Racing review, and things have just gone from bad to worse! Like last month, I will let the figures speak for themselves.

The service still lacks a daily e mail service and this makes it a pain to keep logging into the site to get the daily selections as you do not know exactly when they will be posted. This needs to be addressed and quickly.

I have summarised the second month’s results below and as before, I have placed straight £10 win bets and £10 place bets where recommended as per the given selections.

A truly shocking set of results with the original bank now down almost 40%! I am not sure with the current problem with equine flu when racing will resume but I will continue with this review as soon as it does. Without a major turn around, I think that it is unlikely that the bank will last out for the third month.

Profit/Loss to £10 Level Stakes -£175.20
Number of bets 69
Number of wins 11
Strike Rate 15.94%
Return On Investment -25.39%

Month 3 Summary

We are now at the end of our three month trial of the Simplicity Racing review and it is pleasing to report that it has had a large turnaround in the last month and whilst still in deficit from the original starting bank, the loss is now very small.

The service does have very long losing runs and you do need to keep your nerve with it. It still lacks a daily e mail service and this still needs to be addressed.

Profit/Loss to £10 Level Stakes +£386.10
Number of bets 66
Number of wins 13
Strike Rate 19.7%
Return On Investment 58.5%

Simplicity Racing Racing Conclusion

The service then as stated above has made a remarkable turnaround but in the main, this is due to having had two winning bets at good prices. These sadly to say are very infrequent.

Our Simplicity Racing review has certainly had its ups and down’s over the three month trial period, and has emerged with only a very small loss at the end. In view of its recovery, I feel that it merits three stars and a neutral rating.
