Dog Race Wagers Review

Welcome to our Dog Race Wagers review, where you will see us put this  greyhound racing tipster service from Betfan under the microscope for 90 days.  The tips are delivered to our inbox each morning via email and are also available from the membership area within Betfan.  The Dog Race Wagers review will see results recorded at advised stakes and also at £10 level stakes.

Quick Summary

Today we are starting our three month Dog Race Wagers review, under the BetFan banner. This service e mails bets on greyhounds giving full details of the bet to be placed and also suggesting the bookmaker to be used. This is useful as not all bookmakers price up greyhound racing very far in advance of the races actually starting. There is generally only one bet a day. No prior knowledge of Greyhound racing is assumed and all that is required is a computer or smartphone to collect the daily information, a bookmakers account to place the bets and a small starting bank. Membership starts with a low cost trial costing £7-00 + VAT for the first fourteen days giving you the opportunity to test the service for yourself. I will be recording the results  for our Dog Race Wagers review  given out by the service to their advised stakes and also as usual to £10 level stakes and will report back in a months time with an update.

Month 1 Summary

The first month of our Dog Race Wagers review has now passed, and it has resulted in a very small overall loss. The emails arrive in plenty of time to place the bets and the prices quoted are generally available at this time.

During the month, I have placed a total of twenty four bets and of these, nine have been winners. This is not disastrous but could obviously do with some improvement for the subsequent months of the trail.

The loss at advised stakes (normally 3 point or £30 bets) is as expected three times the loss at £10 stakes with the starting bank of £1000 being reduced in this instance to £880.00. I shall report back in a further month with an update on how the service is progressing.

Profit/Loss to £10 Level Stakes -£40.00
Number of bets 24
Number of wins 9
Strike Rate 36%
Return On Investment -16.67%

Month 2 Summary

The second month has now passed for our Dog Race Wagers review and it has resulted in a nice turnaround to put us in profit. The e mails arrive in plenty of time to place the bets and the prices quoted are generally available at this time.

During the month, I have placed a total of twenty five bets (25) and of these, a very healthy sixteen (16) have been winners. This is excellent news and hopefully, it will continue into the final month of the trial.

The profit at advised stakes (normally 3 point or £30 bets) is as expected three times the profit at £10 stakes, with a £386.71 profit showing since we began.

I shall report back in a further month with the final results at the end of the trial of this service.

Profit/Loss to £10 Level Stakes +£168.85
Number of bets 25
Number of wins 16
Strike Rate 64%
Return On Investment 67.54%

Month 3 Summary

Our trial of the Dog Race Wagers service has now come to an end and it is
pleasing to report that overall, the service has made a profit. The last month of the trial however has only seen a £10 increase in the bank which is not great but is at least an increase.

Profit/Loss to £10 Level Stakes +10
Number of bets 21
Number of wins 7
Strike Rate 33.33%
Return On Investment 4.76%

Dog Race Wagers Review Conclusion

Overall, the trial period has resulted in a profit. I feel therefore that a rating of three stars is fair given that from the profit of £138.80 to £10 level stakes,  you have to deduct the membership fee of £54 so that your actual profit after that is only £84 which over a three month period is less than £1 a day.

To advised stakes you would have faired better, with a £446.50 profit seen, generally to three points per selections being bet. So a £392.50 profit if you chose to bet this way.

If you are looking for something different as a betting medium then you may wish to add this method to your portfolio.
